Headlamps

Does anyone here know what car/vehicle the headlamps are from that are used in the 2000 - 2003 Hurricanes?

My lights are so poor that I would like to try to put Hid kits into them. But to get the right ones, I need to know what headlights Thor installed in our rigs.
I have heard rumors that they are from a ford truck, but don't know of which model or year.

Look closely at your headlights, and they will have some numbers on them. Those numbers are manufacturer numbers and will give you the original users if you google that number with a "headlight" search. Good luck.

Your avatar is a bit small to see the headlights. These are them, right?

Those look like copies of Mercury Mountaineer headlights of about the same vintage:

You need to read this thread before you spend any money:

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f107/my-p...ts-205068.html

(Cliffnotes version: Your cheap, probably not DOT legal, copies of Mountaineer headlights that Thor used are only getting about 10.5 volts at the bulbs, reducing their output by about 50% from what they'd put out at FMVSS mandated 12.8 volts.)

Thank you! That is the information I was looking for!
