Heating system design flaw

We have a 2014 Thor Challenger 37 GT. The second night in it the weather was cool, since I was having trouble sleeping I thought it was a good time to test the furnace. I went into the front room closed the door to the bathroom and turned on the furnace. Hour and a half later with the furnace running the full time and I was still cold I opened the door to the bath and bedroom it must have been 100 deg. in that end. The furnace is located in the bathroom with short ducting to bed and bath. My correction was to remove the vent in the bed room cover the end with aluminum foil reinstalled do the same in the bath but cut a slit in the foil this forces the air into the duct to the front room. The system now has better balance the bedroom, with leaving the door open to the bath is cool but not cold, bathroom is fine and front room is also fine. Note: after blocking the vent the first flow of air into the front room shot construction material, sawdust, wood chips, insulation, etc, everywhere what a mess.

Now that you have blown all the crud out the ducts you may want to test it again. Probably needs to be rebalanced. My furnace ducts have adjustable louvers which allows for balancing without having to tear everything apart but yes the ones closest to the furnace do put out a lot more hot air.

One of the problems is they do not balance.. In my case I closed the vent in the bathroom.. I did this by replacing the standard vent with an electronic one.. Once I closed it I never opened it again.. (That's the half bath) the main bath has a vent, but it is much larger than the half (more like 1/4) the bedroom has one and the "Great room" (Kitchen, living, dining) has 2, plus one in the basement (or 2 not sure) for keeping things liquid in sub freezing weather.

That's on my rig.. But the half bath,, I cut that one off.

The electronic vent will let me set a temp where it opens or closes, both for Air Conditioning and heating,, but I have found it not necessary, Just keep it closed.
