Help a newbie

Hello,
So the reason I have parts issues is I call my super c four winds a f550.
Upon reading about shock upgrades, I discovered some call this a ford f53 chassis?
I thought the f53 chassis was a class a?

Please everyone, SET ME STRAIGHT.

Just learned my HR Endeavor in and out, the dummy I am sold it. My defense, the wife hated it, mad wife sad life.

Bought new to us 2017 super c four winds….

And now we have a happy wife and U have a happy life.
Time to re learn a new rv……
Terry

According to the specs on your rig, it's an F-550, not an F-53

Thats what I thought. F550, but 2016 chassis year and some parts are not right.
Ex: F550 has a cabin filter, mine does not. Thought I lost my mind, called ford, yep I don’t have one, even the book said I do.
See my problem.
Terry

Thanks you make me feel a liitle less dumb.

Terry-

I would think the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) would reveal the chassis type. It should confirm the chassis year, too. Here is a link to Ford's guides on how to decode the VIN.

Mark,
Thanks, I own an incomplete vehicle from ford, built in Kentucky, 6.7 power stroke, assembled on 2016. And a F 550.
