If you have a 2 inch receiver (highly likely yes) and a 2 inch drop or 3/4 inch rise will place your tow bar at the appropriate angle ( no way to tell without more info or a picture or measuring) - yes.

Jeep salesman says the'll put a tow attachment on the jeep for a couple of hundred( when I buy it) Does that sound reasonable. The rv dealership where I bought once told me it would cost a lot more,so Im wondering.

Suggest you do some searching and reading to get educated on flat towing, towing a jeep, braking systems, tow bars, etc. Many threads here to learn.

I put on a Currie baseplate, cost is $220, installation will cost you at least that much with this baseplate.... I would go to a more knowledgeable dealer about towing systems.

How are they going to handle auxiliary lighting?

When my dealer set up my 2008 Jeep GC, he put in a separate harness just for the tow lights and installed an extra bulb in the same lens as my tail light. Do not let them tap into the Jeep's harness.

You will also need a supplemental braking system.

Thanx for all this information.Just one more variable that matters a lot.Is anyone aware of the easiest hitch to use.Ive got some serious arthritis and Ive had a couple of hernias.Which hitch would take the least amount of stress on my body each time I detach the car?

Have a Blue Ox baseplate on our Jeep with a Ready Brute Elite tow bar system. Wiring is separate from Jeeps harness.

Love it. Takes about 5 minutes to hook up/unhook.

I feel your pain!
