Jensen Radio (How to play back audio/video rear TV)

Hi,

On my ACE, the Jensen radio on the dash allows for a USB plug in. You can then select front aux or rear aux. I figured the rear aux would show the audio/video on the rear TV but instead nothing happens? What I'm trying to do is play movies from my iPad on the TV. Any suggestions? The TV only has an HDMI connection which is not compatible with the iPad…

The rear audio is for a jack on the back of the radio. Did you look behind the TV for additional jacks.

There is no connection between the Jensen radio and any of the TV's. As George said, look for a jack on the back of the TV where you might be able to plug in a USB connector.

George,
Which version of IPAD? I have the 1st generation and 4th generation.
both have ability to play movies thought an HDMI adapter that you can purchase.

However, there is a limitation on 1st generation. It will only play movies that are on the IPAD. The ones that you have to play through the Apple Video App.
I believe with 2 Generation and up IPAD running a certain level of IOS will play streaming video of the adapters listed below.

There are two different adapters
1.RCA the typical left right and video(Red White and Yellow). I have only seen this on in the standard 60pin(wide connector) apple connector.
2. HDMI I have seen this in both 60pin and the new lightning small connector.

How this helps

PS. I have done this with the TV in my house and in the RV.
