Latch parts for 99 Challenger

All I need is the plunger part for the latch on a side compartment on my 99 Challenger. I just started looking today online, but it appears to be something that is hard to find.
Anybody have the same problem that could give me a little insight as to where to get hard to find parts for older motor homes?

Challengers were (and still are) built using readily available bits that were also used by many, many other makers.
The latch maker's name might be stamped on the key or back of the latch for help finding the part (?).

Any chance you could add a photo of this "plunger"...maybe a photo from an identical bin (?)

Best luck

Thanks so much for your response and ideas on finding parts for our Challenger.
We found the part we needed on eBay.
