Bought used in 2015 and spent several years getting things sorted out but it has just been regular maintenance since. Ford chassis is 2011 and that is how it is registered, but Thor calls it a 2012 since that is when it was built. Replaced all 12V fuses with lit fuses so one can see exactly which fuse is blown. Installed 5-star tuner program on V-10 engine. Has more power, torque, mileage, and nicer shift points.

what kind of mpg are owners getting with the 2000 ish chevy v8?

Purchased it new 05/28/2016 and now has almost 27,000 miles on it. Problems have been very few and minor. I have lost all faith in Cummins/Onan though. I had generator issues from the start. Random shut off for no reason. They kept telling me I had a dirty fuel tank, no warranty. I spent over $600 with Cummins Atlantic and four 60 mile one way trips to get it serviced. The last time, I read that Onan had a service bulletin on the 5500W gas generators to replace the carburetor if they had a problem like mine. Remember the fuel pickup line is at a quarter tank so not to run coach out of gas. If the original diagnosis had been correct water is heavier than gasoline and settles to the bottom of the tank. I finally convinced them to replace the carburetor and I have not had a problem since. I tried to get Cummins to refund at least part of the money I paid. That fell on deaf ears.
Thor did not build the generator so I can't blame them. All-in-all I have a great motorhome that my wife and I enjoy.
