Motorized slow-rise windshield blind stopped working
Hello,
Our 2016 Palazzo's motorized slow-rise windshield blind has stopped working in the down position. If you push up or down on the button it just sounds an alarm from the motor unit.
I've tried entering into programming mode, but haven't had much luck with the instructions I've found on the web.
Also, with some random pushes of the up/down button in combination with the program button, I can get it to go up, but it alarms the entire way up and then once I let go of the button. I'm right back where I started.
Anybody, have any advise?

Blind issue
When ours did similar, I called Thor customer service and they walked me through the process. The process involved pushing the reset button 7 times, holding the button on the 7th push. After it beeps, the shade should work normally. If not, may require a new switch like ours did.

Where is the reset button? Or did you mean the program button?

Blind
Ours is a Challenger, not sure on the Palazzo. On ours, it is located on the end of of the blind, next to the side window.small red button.

Nothing has worked for us so far, but I'm working on a whole new theory. Our chassis battery is dead ... well, not dead but down to 9.5v. I think that's our problem with the blinds. Now I have to figure out why our chassis battery is not charging like it should.
Gheesh.

Just a followup. Our problem has been solved. It was that our starting batteries had died or mostly died anyway.
It's good to know that if your power blinds just beep at you and wont work, it could indicate that your batteries are dead.

Did you mean house batteries or chassis batteries? Just curious.

It was our chassis batteries that had died. As it turns out, our chassis batteries are only being charged when our engine is running. Now I'm troubleshooting that.

Thanks tcopeland. Our BIRD is testing Ok, but the Trombetta isn't. The replacement should arrive today and I'm hoping to install it this weekend.

Just a followup - This weekend I replaced the Trombetta and our chassis battery is now charging as it should. Yay!
