Hi All:

Former owner of CC 1990 New Orleans - great rig, but sight set on traveling soon after retirement, we moved up to an Infinity 2002 Rig. More hill power, roomier and more to learn on unfamiliar systems.

This rig has a ground fault issue with 120v shore power and kicks the GFI or ckt brkr out. Magnum 2000 Inv/chg - appears fairly new. Charges on 220V but not 120v. Magnum states that the grounds for the AC and DC should be isolated - Okay? Said its probably been that way since install. In order to see how the AC is wired for Domestic use, will have to pull out the INv/Chg unless an easier way to determine if there is common ground between ckts, AC and DC, utilizing a Fluke DVM.

If anyone might know procedure, I would appreciate that.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! Sorry I can't help with your problem. Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

from WA State and another CC owner!

Are you hooking to a 220/240 volt (normal 50 amp RV setup) shore power or is the 220/240 coming from the gen set?
