You will hear a lot of negativity about Thor. We have 2012 ACE 29.2 and are happy with it. Plan on taking it to Alaska this summer. We have put 3000 miles on it and have been very pleased with what we purchased. These are entry level coaches and should not be compared to more expesnsive models.

We love our 2013 ACE 29.2
We've been everywhere with it, Yellowstone, key west, Nashville, Outer Banks, Washington DC, and New York City just to name a few of the place we've been so far! Looking forward to spring!!! We have about 15,000 miles so far.

Congratulations on your new MH! You will have ups and downs, but overall, you will wonder what you did before you got it! Enjoy every minute of it.

Welcome and congrats on your ACE. We love ours. Just right for the two of us with room for the g-kids when needed. Haven't used it as much as we want only because waiting for DW to FULLY retire (again). Will be headed to Oregon / Northwest area this summer and I am clicking off the days until that happens!

Hello, congrats on your purchase! I have a 29.2 2013 and use it like crazy in Alaska. Went out last weekend ice fishing it was awesome to have right beside the hole. I don't use water or holding tanks but it does a great job for everything else. Keeps plenty warm even at 10 degrees.
I have 9 k miles (4k to get it up here) it is awesome. Don't get caught up in the negativity, every coach has its issues from $200k down to $10k. Thor makes a great product and my local dealer has fixed any problems I may have had. Things will break, jam up, come loose that is just what happens, smile and enjoy fixing it.
If anyone plans a trip to AK let me know I'll share really cool campsites that are less expensive and have all you need.
Kevin

Congrats!
The ACE was the best selling gas Class A model line in North America in 2013.
Don't know the 2014 numbers yet...but the ACE should be near the top again.
They pack a lot into these RV's for a majority of buyers.
Best luck and safe travels

Just got our 2014 27.1 Thor ACE back from state inspection, oil change and overall annual inspection and service. No major problems or surprises after 7700 miles. Looking forward to many happy trips this year if spring ever arrives (-5 degrees F here in eastern PA today).
