3 160w 17.2v. Morningstar TS-45 TriStar 45 Amp Charge Controller 12-48V PWM. Comes with 8g wire will probably upgrade to 4g from a combiner box. Called Thor for a copy of the roof plan, may hay to locate the aluminum studs myself. Placing the panels on the 27.1 and routing of the solar wires is the major problem. Actually drilling the 1" hole in the roof is. May use a remote meter/control thingee. Electrical panel next to batteries with 40 amp buss fuss block. Getting the new mastic for TPO roofs from camping world. Switches.

I now have everything I need to install 3 160W panels. Wait a bit for the weather to warm up then I will start the install.

Thor sent me 3 drawings of the roof plan drawn to scale which are very helpful. I cut panels to scale and have determined three possible placements for the panels on the roof. I am not going to fool around trying to snake the solar wires down by the bathroom vents. I am going to route them down through the bedroom closet, easier.

Finally I have the coach back from Giant RV Colton, 51 days, most critical issues not fixed so with Thor's help I am diagnosing the problems and fixing them myself. I have all the solar stuff. I have a son in law coming up in the AM to help for a couple days.
1. I've mounted a Morningstar T45 PWM controller on a plywood board along with a load center with bus fuses. I prewired the two together with 4 g stranded wire.
2. The controller will be mounted on the front wall of the holding tank bay 90 degrees from the inverter after I hard wire it.
3. I installed a Morningstar TS-RM-2 remote control in the coach next to the inverter remote.
4. I ran the remote control wire through the wall into the electrical section under the L bench then through the existing cutout into the bathroom and then followed the heating duct into the holding tank bay.
5. Thor sent me roof drawings and electrical drawings.
Tomorrow 3 160W 17.4v panels will be installed on the roof, I hope, with son in laws help.
