Outlaw heater and air both coming on at same time

Had this happen once before and happened again today.scroll down on controls to heat , set temp for 70 and air cond comes on and then heater. At same time ...I just want HEAT. Anybody know what this is. Had warranty people check it out several years ago when it first happened but they couldn't figure it out

2013 Outlaw Air and Heat system

I was plugged into 30 amp. turned my furnace on this morning as it was chilly . Air conditioner came on.. First,]I have a thermostat in the bunk that controls the front air conditioner. That was off. The thermostat in hallway controls the air conditioner and heater. First couldnt get heat because of the air conditioner on, then heater and air conditioner running at same time.
then went outside, unplugged at box. Now using not shore power turned on thermostat to heat and guess what heater and NO air conditoiner. anyone have that
problem.

The furnace is 12volt only. The AirCon uses 110VAC for the rooftop unit and 12volt for the controller.

As you know, only the hall thermostat controls the furnace.

With the shore power tie off, the AirCon was dead and it would only run if the generator was started.

But, everything should work right on shore power, so I would power-off the climate control system, reconnect the shore power and test it on fan, then AirCon (cool), then furnace (settings on the thermostat display).
If the AirCon and furnace run at the same time again, the thermostat is malfunctioning.

Best luck

Heat and ac running simatanously

It's not your ac running, it's just your fan. I spoke to Thor engineers. They installed this feature to keep the heat circulating due to outlaws high ceilings. It's annoying. I just shut the ac breaker when heat is on.

BOBCAT12 is right. Scroll through the "Fan-Cool-Furnace" with the on/off button. when you get to the "Fan" option just scroll with the "+/-" buttons until it says Auto. That will only let the furnace fan run.

I believe we have all had this happen to us one time or another...I know I had to call Thor as well! Happy RVing.
