Outside kitchen door opened while driving

Anyone else have this happen while driving down the highway? I have a 2015 Miramar 34.2 with an outside kitchen, the door was closed and locked and 100 miles down Rt 81 in PA a trucker finally pulled me over! The big door had popped open and I can't believe I didn't do any damage. Then two days later it happened again so now I'm freaking out but finally got home. I guess I'll have to change the lock and devise some other way to make sure it doesn't pop open going down the road

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or am I special,
Moon

Yes. Compartment doors can pop open if hinges are not properly aligned, anything inside the compartment moving against the door might not it open. I have started to but braces on the inside going across the door jam.

Usually the catch adjustment is too tight so the latch cannot fully engage. I had the big driver's side door open on a rough road. A truck flagged me down at a stop sign. I loosened the catch a little and so far that has worked.
