Nice work on the lights.

This weekend I am adding a light fixture to the bathroom above the sink, and getting the 2nd AC unit on the roof. Will take some pics.
Living in AZ, and having family in TX very interested in the AC unit. How do you plan to power it?

My 2nd AC unit works really well. I went with the high efficiency unit, cost a little more, but uses less than 10Amps when running at full cooling. I ran the power 3' across the roof in a plastic conduit to the hallway area. I went down inside the closet next to the bathroom, through the floor and over to the compartment on the left side where the sewer hose is. There I have the 25' cord I plug into the power pole along with my 30A cord for the RV. Super easy, and all the wiring is hidded, so it looks like it came that way.

The nice thing about this is when plugged in at a camp site, I am using two (2) circuits.... the 30A and the 20A. Incase one of them should fail when we are away, the other would still be fine. If we leave the dog inside for a short period, I don't have to worry about him.

Wow, great job. Can you give more specifics on the brand? and I saw a post in the ACE Mods thread where you mentioned heat, sounded like it was a separate component? So nothing on the exterior roof? sorry for the questions I'm a little dense on these things!

it's a Coleman Mach3PS, similar to the original one in front... except the power saver model. The only difference is instead of venting into the ceiling ducts, is has a lower duct unit (in my pics). You can buy a heat coil to put inside of it to get heat also. So now I have 2 large black boxes on my roof.

If you go to camping world, just ask teh parts desk for:

1 - Coleman Mach 3 PS (black shroud)
1 - Coleman interior defusser
1 - Coleman Mach 3 heat coil

I don't have the part numbers with me, but all standard stuff.

Thorchini that look COOL! How and where did you run the power from the ceiling and did you add a wall thermostat? Do you need a breaker box in the camper controls area? Thanks!

Update: saw your post in Mods/upgrades. You ran it down the bathroom cabinet.

There are no wall controlls, the controlls are on the unit, see the two knobs on the front. Power was ran on the roof and down inside the cabinet next to the bathroom. No breaker is needed, it will use he 20Amp breaker on the pole at the campsite.
