Pivoting Sewer/Dump Connection

I just watched a YouTube video on the 2014 TMC motorhomes covering specifics to the line.

The video showed that the waste tank dump outlet (where the dump hose connects) is made to swivel. The intent is to reduce/prevent dripping after the dumping process.

This made me think about several posts where owners of some models complained that the dump was pointing up...

This is a new concept to me. Maybe worth checking if the dump pipe end is moveable.

Yup--took me several trips before I figured out the outlet moved. Actually, its the y-pipe that connects the black and grey waste pipes. The two input ends are parallel and swivel between the two slide dump valves. My intial thought was that the outlet was simply misaligned with the hose opening in the bottom of the compartment. It was one of the first but not the last time I felt stupid while learning about the coach
PS--Recently replaced one of the slide dump valves so got an inside look at the way the y-pipe connects to the two slide valves--gaskets and compression fittings. It might be designed to do so but dont think I would rountinely/excessively twist the y-pipe to a new position.
