Quick Fill Battery set-up

Thinking about getting something like this for the ACE:
Qwik-Fill 12 Volt Battery Maintenance/Watering System by Flow-Rite - RV Power Supply
Does anyone else use one? I'm getting a little confused, many of them say for group size 24 - 27. Is there an easy way to see what group size I have?
Thanks,

Lisa

I only need to top mine off once or twice a year and it's really not that difficult, for me I could find something more worthwhile to spend the $80 on. Maybe your batteries are harder to reach on the 30.1?

I am having the same questions. I cannot get anywhere close to seeing or filling the cells. It is so tight that I think I would have to remove the 2 engine batteries to do anything. I might be able to do the coach batteries but I have 6 joint replacements and a spinal fusion!! Do pretty good, but somethings are not worth the effort!! Believe I will get them and have them put on!!

I use this. It is old school but works great. Automatically stops filling when full. Only $13 with shipping.

I have two pairs of batteries. One pair pai no way can you see the water levels. Install a watering system and it's great. Literally a 30 second job the check/fill the batteries.

I have one that I picked up from RVUpgrades. The rear cells of our 6V batteries were almost impossible to reach and were impossible to see into without a mirror, so the ease of adding water with the watering system, not to mention the time saved, makes it a worthwhile investment for me.

Thanks, the rubber rotting is something to consider.

Ours don't pull out and the room is a little tight, would rather not stick our head into the compartment and smell the fumes.

Thanks, will take a look at that.

Thanks, I think it will also make it more apt for us to check each month instead of putting it off.

We did buy the quick fill system. We like the way it is set up, it should make checking the batteries much better. Pictures show before, then with system installed and with the pump.
