Very interesting! My satellite dish (dome) is a couple of inches higher then and A/C so I have my Rand McNally 7720 GPS set @ 13 ft to keep me out of trouble.

Haven't had any other issues with hight but I don't do any overpasses unless they are at least 13 high. Just that one issue at camp mires over this one site are at 12'2" and my old coach cleared but the next day when I took my new one they didn't but all was well the site was double long so I sat at the end of it and stayed

Jack,

Just wondering what kind of satellite dome you have and if it is a in motion type?

I wondering if anyone has had any experience with the in motion variety?

Any recommendations?

Bill

Bill:

I have an in-motion satellite; "Winegard RoadTrip Mission Satellite TV Antenna- In-Motion" which sells for $1500-$1600 at Camping World. I have never attempted to run it as I drove down the road, no one to watch it because my DW is not interested. Once you are set up at the camp site it is quick and easy to get it up and running as long as you are not under a tree

If I had it to do over again, knowing what I know, I may of considered something else less expensive without the in motion feature.

Thanks!
Jack
