Roof Satellite Dish install

I have a 2010 Damon Challenger. Does anyone know if they prewire a coax for a roof dish?
Thanks,
Nathan

Damon had a "SAT Prep" option in all Class A's.

It is very easy to see if your Challenger has the optional wiring by looking inside the entertainment cabinette for 2 extra/unused coax cables...
One runs to a chase in the roof covered by an exterior plate or faux plumbing vent on the roof where there actually is no plumbing.
The other runs to a bin (probably the front most driver's side bin) for a portable antenna connection.

As a side note, our SAT antenna installer did not use the SAT Prep wires and added a new coax under the front cap (described a warranty concern as the reason to add new wiring). It was no difference in install price, so no problem to us.

Best luck.

I do have the plate above the drivers side. I will look again on the roof for a faux plumbing vent. Thanks for the info. If you remember, where was the faux vent located on the roof?

The faux roof vent on our Damon is above and slightly to the rear of the drivers seat...can't miss it. This location may be because our set-up puts the SAT receiver in the driver's side over-dash cabinet. The DVD player and all other stuff is in the cabinet over the passenger's seat side.

The vent is only a cover to locate the cables/junction box that is covered by the rubber roof and sub-roof. Under the vent cap is a VERY obvious decal with a Wingard logo applied on the roofing that describes how to access the cables ("Cut here - Cut only a XX inch opening, etc.").

Best luck

Awesome, thanks for the info. My RV is offsite, so I look forward to seeing if it is there......
