Serrano 31x no propane flow

Hi All
We have not used our MH for about 6 months but decided to go to Huntsville this weekend. Our propane tank is 3/4 full but neither the stove or any other gas appliance will light. Any thoughts?

Serrano 31x no propane flow

Assuming the tank valve is on , the appliances may need more time for the propane to get to them or your propane detector may be inoperable.

How long do you estimate it takes for propane to reach the stove?

It's never happened to me but I've heard it can take quite a few tries if it's been awhile.

There is a full flow shut off built into the tank shut off valve.
Opening the valve quickly if all the lines are drained can trigger this shut off, to re-set, make sure all propane appliances are off, close the supply valve on the tank, and open it very slowly, this will allow the back pressure that keeps the emergency shut off open to build.
Then try to light a stove top burner, a flame lighter is most useful for this because , depending on the distance from the tank to the stove this could take 30>45 seconds to push the air in the system out and get the propane through.

Define " FREE " , an hour or more with DW saying" I've got no hot water and can't cook". The worst part is , I used to do automotive propane conversions and had forgotten about the " ruptured line " safety feature in the valves, to stop flow in the event of an accident .
Your BBQ ,5 gal. bottle has this feature too.
