Shore power

I just bought a 96 Thor Grand Manor 3470. I have generator a/c power but nothing from the shore cord. I can't find a breaker or a coach fuse box or converter anywhere. Anyone know where these are at?

sounds like your auto transfer switch is not switching over from generator to shore power... under the bed, behind the cord entry area, ....who knows.

Could the problem be a bad pedestal, dog bone, or cord...do you have a volt meter to make some simple checks?

My wife found it, lol. Above the bed at the back of the coach...I found a generator transfer box in the rear storage compartment. I don't know how it works but I will test the cords and research this transfer box... I never heard of a transfer box. Thanks for you help tho.. Maybe some insight on the transfer box... Looks complicated.

Google. " RV Automatic Transfer Switch ".

Look for your brand and you can find info on it. There are 30 amp and 50 amp models.

dog bone

Thanks everyone. It was the dog bone. It had been overheated and had rubber transfer on one of the tabs..
