Storage bay lights

We have a 2006 Thor Hurricane 30 Q. The 12 volt lights in the storage bays are running off the engine battery. My engine battery discharged and I couldn`t figure out why. Happened to have the switch off for the engine at the stairwell and was getting something out of the storage bay and the light wouldn`t come on. Turned the switch back on and found a light on in another bay. So thats what drained my battery. Seems real strange that those lights run off the engine battery and not the chassis batteries. Anyone else have this issue?

Have no idea how many Damon/Thor products this applies to. Does show cargo lights. House or chassis battery for source? I never checked.

On my coach this fuse panel (for the chassis battery), located by the driver's left foot. It supplies power for everything in the driver's section that Thor installed at the factory except for the 12 volt accessory receptacles. I found that out one day when the 100 amp circuit breaker tripped on the forward frame rail by the chassis battery. I spent an hour chasing wires to find the CB. The thorough PDI at MHSRV missed that fact.
