That $&@?!#% shelf!!!

OK sorry if this sounds like a trivial problem but it's driving me crazy. DW's pull out shelf/workspace in front of her passenger seat simply will not pull out. Haven't had this problem until the last time out and today when doing some maintenance no amount of pulling and prying would get it to come out. Any thoughts?

Model and year in signature line.

It is a Serrano thing. If it is hot and/or humid it will swell and stick (in or out). In cooler or dryer climates it is fine. PA in summer, not good. AZ in winter, always good. We just left it out. 😉

I have the same issue. Thought about removing the shelf and trimming it on my table saw. It would be hard to remove because there is a stop block that I would have to access under the dash. Too much trouble.

Thanks. I had a 31X and loved it. But not enough space for fulltime. 😉
Happy trails!

Try some silicone spray, this will lube it without the greasy mess. This is what a manufacture gave me for a slide that was sticking.

Next time you get it out, rub all the contact areas with some Bees Wax. No Bees Wax, use and old candle or even a bar of soap.

We have had the SAME issue with humidity and sticky shelf. Moves in and out perfectly when it's dry, and won't budge if it's humid.
