Thor A.C.E. 27.1

We have a 2014 ACE 27.1 on order. While my wife likes it she is concerned primarily about two problems she foresees... 1. Her short lets do not touch the floor when she rotates the captains chair around and 2. She is concerned about falling into the stairwell.
While I have some ideas on both issues I would appreciate others thoughts as well.

Wait till she sits on the toilet, I'm not short and my legs barely touch the floor. Does she fall down steps regularly? Not sure why it would be any different than at home or anywhere else?

When we had an ACE 29.1 we gave up on turning the front seats around. The elevated platform meant that anyone shorter than 6 foot 9 or so needs to use an ottoman or footrest. Same problem with the toilet. To save space the black tank protrudes several inches above floor level and the regular size toilet sits on top of it. We kept a folding step stool in the bathroom to give some comfort while seated. It might be possible to replace the commode with a low profile model.

Pretty much every gas Class A has a stairwell. You get used to it after a while. Thor did add a grab handle inside the door sometime in the 2013 model year I think. Make sure yours has it.

All front engine motor homes will have the seats elevated not so much in pushers. The stairs aren't much of an issue on a 29.2 you never find yourself overthere unless your using the door. I'm tall and I have to sit on the toilet on my tippy toes, its kinda annoying but it makes me feel like a kid again

Not necessarily. Our Thor Challenger has the usual doghouse over the engine, but the floor under the seats is level with the rest of the coach. We can turn them round and use them with no problem.

There's something odd about the design of the ACE. On our 29.1 the bedroom floor was elevated as well.
