Thor ACE 30.1 2016

The driver's compartment a/c died just as we were heading out last December. For most of the trip we were okay with no a/c while driving, got rather hot on the road home.

We took it in and a hose needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, the repair facility is having trouble locating the correct part, Ford denies knowing anything, Thor denies knowing anything.

Seriously, a 2016 vehicle and the a/c has never gone out and never needed a replacement part? What gives?

Yeah. Been there with multiple issues.

In this case, shame on Ford. The heating and AC are part of the F-53 chassis. How do I know that? Because they are discussed in the Ford manual including pics of the HVAC controls.

If you have a Ford owner account (if not, I suggest you get one!) you can lookup parts there. You will have to select a Ford dealer in order to do so, but you don't have to buy from them.

Contact this place. Ford only supplies the compressor. Thor outsources the components.
