It appears that I only have 21-1/2" of depth in the pantry cabinet that is pre set up for washer and dryer. From looking around most are 22" to 22-3/4"
I'm looking to go stackable.
What brand and model do you have?
Any tricks you might know as I will be installing these myself.
Thanks,
We did the splendid 2100, and it was a task. I had to remove the drawers (obviously), but also the upper back “frame” and shorten it to sit flush with the bottom half. I also had to drill the vent hole in a place that compromised that top frame and ended up removing the bottom cross bar altogether.

In the end it fit, but it was pushes as far back as possible and it still touches the pantry door. I also don’t have a way to secure the feet, it knock on wood, it hasn’t moved yet.

Send a message via Yahoo to xjpr
mines a 2015, bought used in '17, came with a pinacle washer and panda dryer, dryer kept blowing the thermal fuse requiring removal to get to the back panel, after the 3rd one it was replaced by another panda, we don't use it all that much, doe's small loads but works really well, usually use the campground washers when a big load accumulates, don't full time so couldn't justify the splendide models

Our 2014.5 had a Splendide combo installed by a dealer. Fits fine.

Splendide it is! Looks like the back panel can be removed, I'm sure I'll find an inch or 2 back there. Thanks for your input.

Jacks Issue / Battery Cable

Just got my 2017 37Y back from a local shop that did a few piddly things totally unrelated to jacks or battery

1. Theres a fairly HD hot wire running to the battery from well over by the driver’s side and angling into the positive terminal of the battery. That wire literally FALLS OUT of the shroud if coach is moving. I have no idea what it’s powering

2. When I pulled into my pad to park a message came on the jacks “pad”

ERROR: RETRACT TIMEOUT

RETURN LEVELER FOR SERVICE

They all appear to be fully retracted but it will not let me turn off and back on to try and clear the message

Latched Out Warning
LATCHED ERROR mode is “Wait”, “Jacks Down”, “Park Brake”, “Excess Slope” and “Low Voltage” lights
flashing.
1. Battery voltage below 10.0V DC.
2. Retract time over 67 seconds in auto retract.
3. This is the only LATCHED ERROR mode.
To RESET, push all 4 diamond-shaped jack buttons at the same time (Fig. 16).

This is from the older Lippert chassis jack manual but it might work.

Red hot wire?

Thanks

I’m headed over to check that out

Any idea what that hot wire is that comes into the battery terminal from way back around the drivers side?

I get that error a couple of times a year, even though the jacks are fine. Press the ENTER and RETRACT buttons at the same time to clear.

Loose red wire (cont)

Thx everyone. It’s true that on my newer model it’s the enter and retract buttons simultaneously.

The source of the problem turns out that loose red wire is the hot wire for the leveler. When AAA replaced my battery they apparently pulled that wire and hard enough that it came out of the crimp. Mechanic then tried to repair by just pushing it in as far as he could and wrapped with black tape.

Connection wasn’t solid enough which lead to the error messages

Flooring?

Has anyone replaced their linoleum flooring in there coach? What did you use? I am hesitant to tackle this project because of the slides.

We haven't, but there are many threads on this forum about changing flooring with slides (not Challenger specific but I don't see why it would differ much).

Thor Challenger Owners Unite!

Buying from Bankston (Ardmore, TN). They did a good job repairing my Pace Arrow so feel pretty comfortable with them.
