Motor is located above Slide, near ceiling. You have to remove trim boards to access. Pics are available if you need them. Let me know

Yes, I'd like to see the pix. Either post here or send to my email, sbleiweiss@shell-bleiweiss.com. What were the symptoms of motor failure for you? Mine is acting noteably more sluggish and ceiling lights are flickering while it is running. Never happened before.

I sent pics via email. I'm posting here also in case someone has a similar issue. I suggest making pics before removing any parts. I unknowingly created some of the problem. The slide is an Accu-slide with cables. I operated it the same way that I was told to operate the Schwintek slide. This resulted in a stripped gearbox.

Do you mean holding the button for a couple of seconds after the movement ends? I have been doing that too, for seven years. Are you saying it shouldn't be done with the Accuslide?

oh hell no the only reason for holding button on schwintek slide is because there are two motors which must be in sync to operate correctly. there is only one motor on bal cable slide. once in or out completely release button. also lube the rollers under floor of slide. i found a few of mine weren't rolling which puts more stress on motor to operate the slide. spray some silicone on rollers with slide in about half way. i also bring in or put out slide in increments so as not to overload the motor. start stop maybe three times when bringing in or putting out slide.

Agree totally with jeanluc001 comments. The dealer made no distinction at time of delivery and I wasn't smart enough to ask the right questions.

also concerning the bal accuslide it's pretty good idea to make sure the cables are adjusted properly. remove the wood trim covering the cables and motor at top of the slide. then move the slide all the way out. if any cables are drooping they should be tightened up. then bring the slide in and same thing if any cables are showing slack they should be tightened. this assures that the slide is being moved at all four corners equally. thus less stress on motor. i removed staples holding trim on and replaced with screws so as to make removal of trim easier in case of needed repairs.

Bathroom sink. Ours looks like it was held in place with white plastic clamps underneath, held in place and tightened by a Phillips head screw. There appear to be six of these clamps. Ours have come loose and turned. We will re tighten them, but want to make sure we know the direction they are supposed to face. Can one of you take a picture of yours, in their tightened position, and post it or email it to me at sbleiweiss@shell-bleiweiss.com. Thanks.

Hello, we recently purchased a 2018 Challenger LX, and are still learning our way around and hope someone can provide a few answers here instead of starting a new thread. This first one makes me feel a bit silly but where is the power switch to adjust the driver's seat forward and back, I have looked on the seat, on the dash, and can not find it to save my life. Second on the main control panel, under settings, there is a button labeled switches. it shows several tabs (no action when pushed) that list a location and battery condition. All but 2 show battery good but the sofa and bath tabs show battery low. I have looked and have no idea what it means. So if someone would please chime in I would really appreciate it, thank you.

Welcome to the Challenger family. It sounds like your 2018 is very different than our 2014.5 so I can't help with your questions. We don't even have a main control panel. Someone younger or at least techier will jump in soon.
