DW wanted to replace the mirror in the living room with something more attractive than my image whenever I stand in front of it.

Was able to remove pretty easy by slipping a thin putty knife between the velcro to disengage and then lift it off the cleats at the top.

Velcro came off the the wall easy enough by peeling slowly and ‘slicing’ the adhesive.

Will post new look when we get the poster framed.

Been applying Mother’s CMX ceramic spray coating to the paint. Works pretty well and the price is right. Easy to apply. I think I’ll be using this product instead of wax.

I know it’s not the high end, read high price, ceramic treatment, but I’m liking the smooth finish it provides.

I have to agree with your DW, it is an improvement.

So, I took Dulcinea to the campground for the first time this week, and must say, I am really liking all the features, the floor plan and just pretty much ease of access to all the pertinent parts. One thing that is kind of throwing me is the level indication on the main bath grey water. After three showers it was at 67% and two additional showers later, it's still at 67%. I am guessing the given the shape of the holding tanks the level indication is not linear.

What is others experience with this?

Also, while I like the concept of the tankless water heater, it seems to use more water for the same result and there are "pulses" of colder water if you shut off the flow to soap up.
Thoughts?

I don't know which model challenger you have l have 37fh I added the shower miser valve by aqua view, its a 2 way valve that once water is hot you can flip the valve and it continues to run but sends it back to fresh water tank. It took me about 4 hours and $30. for pex pipe and fittings an $60. for valve kit. Works great while dry camping we can take at least 8 showers. If you're interested pm me.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did some research and may go that route if it becomes a limiting factor.

So. I ordered the California Car Covers dash cover, which evidently is sourced out to Dash Designs. Regardless, perfect fit and looks great. Good thing too as the beagles have already been making that their perch.

Now to figure out how to keep the nose prints off the windows.

Added some more artwork to the new Challenger. Two in the bathrooms and one in the bedroom.

New 2021 Challenger 35mq

Just drove home (500 miles) a 35mq with New Ford V8
Gas Mileage Started at 4.5 at 100 miles on it and by the time I got home was up to 7.1
Coming from a 2009 Winne Sightseer which had 4 Sumo Springs and Steering Stabilizer. No CHF.
Have to say the new one held the road quite well and we did have quite a crosswind at times. The Passing Semis were noticed but not bad. My Winne was even or not far behind or equal.
i noticed the lack of power as going up hills but that got consistently better as I put more miles on unit.
The biggest thing I noticed that the road noise was quite a bit louder than my Winne. Now I am Wondering if the sumo spring quieted the road noise down. Anyone with any thoughts on the Sumos be quieter?

Welcome to team Challenger.

It isn't exactly a quiet ride. When the V8 starts working things get loud fast. I plan on adding some Dyna Mat very soon.

Adding Dynamat to the engine doghouse makes a HUGE difference in the noise level. We have a 2014.5 37KT, and I finally added it in 2019 - wish I would’ve added it first thing! The engine is still loud when it’s at high RPM, but not anywhere near as bad as without the Dynamat, and at highway cruise you can hold a normal conversation with no problem.

Hey Webman. We have the exact same rig. First other one we have crossed paths with. Haven't quieted the doghouse though.

Barely felt the passing trucks or the crosswind.
