Do you just remove the screws from the cover from inside the coach? Is there a seal or sealant that needs to be replaced after the install is done?

In the coaches I have owned all the engine covers were designed to be removed/replaced multiple times from the inside. No sealants, rubber gaskets only. Fastening methods inside the coaches varied a bit.

Thread Break. Apologies. I have a 2013 ChallengerGT that the kitchen slide won’t extend. The left side (as seen from the inside) seems to want to extend normally but the right side will move out a few inches than slide a few inches to the left before stopping. Thoughts?

It’s just the four bolts on top for our coach. There’s a foam gasket that’a adhered to the front of the doghouse and I think along the base, as well. I replaced the front gasket with a 1” thick strip of the Dynamat that I cut and stuck onto the front edge of the doghouse in place of the original foam, which didn’t even completely close the gap.

The toughest part of the whole thing, oddly enough, was getting the bolts back on: aligning the blots with the nuts (which are fixed to the metal floor frame with spring clips). I finally used a screwdriver to align the holes, then put the bolts through.

Odd Problem: Frameless window

Never seen this before

Its the tinted frameless window that hinges at the top and has the knob inside that opens and closes the window

The Y shaped part of the opener that attaches to the window became unattached. I tried Gorilla glue to no avail.

Suggestions?

Replacing Axxera unit in Challenger 37ND

My Axxera unit died yesterday. Have purchased a JVC KW-V960BW from Crutchfield today. Any pointers on the replacement process or a good video that would walk me through it? Thanks in advance!

Put up a matching pole barn to shelter Dulcinea. Got to keep the lady happy.

I have a 2014 37KT. How do you remove the doghouse cover. Do I really need to take some of the dash up to get it open to install KILMAT 80 mil Sound Deadening Mat?

No, just remove 4 bolts. You may have to use flat pry bar to break the seal. As stated earlier, lining up the bolts to reinstall is a little difficult. I used an ice pick to align the first ones. Worth the effort.
