Thor Daybreak TV Removal

Hey folks! I have a Thor Daybreak 30db (2021). I am trying to remove the TVs in the bunk bed area. Actually, I just want to hook stuff up to them. But, I really need to change the mounts it seems... There is no way to get the darn things off! Once off, I'll probably put the TVs on extension arms so I can pull them out in the future and access the ports on the back.

Can anyone tell me how to remove these suckers? Feeling around the back, it seems like it's just a super simple mounting bracket with the TV just screwed into it. But, I can't imagine I will even be able to get any type of screw driver behind there... So, any thoughts?

Looks similar to my exterior tv mounts. I believe you remove the four screws from the sides of the tv bracket. Then the tv and bracket come loose together.

Hahahaha... Thanks for supplying me with the simple answer I just couldn't see! I was definitely overthinking this one!

In fairness to myself, this is there most ridiculous way to mount a TV! They supply a TV with DVD player, without any space to actually insert a DVD... or access three HDMI port. Would a cantelever mount have been too much to ask for???

Thanks @triplewide

I have the same RV, and I agree with you, it seems very stupid. I thought our salesman told us that we would be able to stream the same HDMI source (in our case our phone playing a video plugged into the splitter) into all TV's, however, I have not been able to get that to work.

Yeah, we were told the same. However, the HDMI cable is not run to the bunk bed TVs. So… it’s a no go. That’s why I need to swap the TV mounts so I can access the hdmi input and dvd slot.

As it is, the TVs are completely useless UNLESS you use the antenna/cable input. That RG6 cable wire is run off the splitter to all TVs. But, I rarely use that.
