Thor(Four Winds) Serrano 31V help

I recently purchased a 2010 Serrano 31V and need help with the U-shaped dinette to bed feature. Supposedly the table drops down and some how magically the cushions can be re arranged to form a bed. Table dropping down simple. Cushions creating a bed not so much. Either we are missing a cushion(although no indication we are) or I am just not any good with puzzles. We have tried every arrangement but no matter what we do we end up with a big gap as if we need an additional irregular shaped cushion. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Question.. How the heck is it easy to get the table down? I have tried but I can only see a bunch of screws I would have to remove to get the post out. Is that true? I haven't found much help in the manuals.

Thanks

I just pulled up on the table to remove the post from the floor and then pulled the post out from the bottom of the table. Then the table itself fits down in the grooves in the center of the seat area. Do you have an extra cushion somewhere that I am missing or do you just have the 3 cushions that make up the seating?

I have an extra cushion, it was behind the Couch.. Look in that spot. I would love to make a place for more wardrobes. Some how take that big closet space in the back and make half of into a cloths storage area. I think your model has better storage in the bedroom then my 31Z.

Ah. So we are missing a cushion. I looked everywhere and it is not on the unit.
It looks like per the brochure that our model has the large wadrobe closet next to the pantry. This is the added space. It is not in the bedroom but just outside the sliding door.

I have the same dinette in our 31x and the extra, almost square cushion was also behind the pull out bed.
Sounds like yours may be MIA though what good it does anyone else I don't know????
Good luck.

Another thought. Did you look under the seats of the dinette itself there is storage under all three sides?

I did look under the seating and the other storage areas as well. No telling why it was removed? Maybe they damaged it and decided to remove it from the unit?

I figured you'd looked everywhere.
Good luck trying to find a replacement and most of all enjoy your Serrano.

Our extra was in the back closet on one side in the bedroom. But you definitely need the extra cushion. And, be very, very careful. The 'rails' that make up the lip for the table when it is down doesn't match up to the table edges for a darn, as the table edges are rounded. I made up a plywood plate that I put down on the rails first to make it more secure, stored it behind the dinette when not in use. The grandkids got dumped on the floor more than once when the table edge slid and fell.
