Thor made it right, sent me a check

My RV dealer found the front turn signal indicators on my 29.2 didn't work on a pre-delivery check and the local Ford dealer there was two weeks out on being able to work on it.

I took delivery after they (my RV dealer) found a Ford Dealer locally in Houston willing to work on it, since I had scheduled time off to pull my Puma up there and then drive the ACE back down. The Ford dealer worked on it for a while and called me to tell me that the problem wasn't in the F53 Chassis, it was in the RV. They said it would take about 6 or 7 hours to rewire it, and wanted me to pay for it. I agreed since I was now completely without an RV for the first time in 20 years. The dealer did indeed get it fixed, and I paid $742.50 as agreed.

I sent a couple of emails to Thor along with a copy of the invoice from the Ford Dealer stating what they had found and what they had done to fix it. It had to go through channels at Thor, but earlier this week, I got a check for the full amount I had asked for. I was pleasantly surprised they did the right thing and paid me back. When it comes time to replace this RV (my 5th one), Thor is going to be first on my list.

Hey Mont,

What the heck??!! You cannot post anything positive about Thor! Get with the program.

This, (and every other), message board exists solely to bash RV manufacturers, (especially the brands that you do NOT personally own)!!

I'm not going to be happy until they meet my demands:

1. pay for a free alignment/CHF
2. make my seats fully powered
3. replace my stereo with one that includes GPS and free Sirius/XM
4. upgrade my counters to full marble with a double kitchen sink
5. change my bathroom sink to empty into the grey tank
6. include a sleep number bed
7. double my cargo carrying space without losing interior space
8. include full body paint designed by West Coast Customs
9. make my warranty transferable for the lifetime of the motorhome.

And they better not increase the price!!!!

ROTGLMAO!

My 12YO daughter recently discovered and re-introduced me to Dr.Who again!

Item 7 makes me think that a motorhome with the "size" features of the T.A.R.D.I.S. would be nice.
