I'm looking at buying my first RV and was looking at the MB Sprinters. The Thor models referenced in the title both have a double door to the bathroom. I have seen these doors at an RV show and was not impressed with their construction and am wondering how the hold up to wear and tear. Right now I am not considering these models because of the double bathroom doors. Am I wrong on this? I could use some real world experience with these doors.
I had the thor sprinter 24st with those doors. they are somewhat sturdy but if someone doesn't open them carefully the handle can rip off. I saw this at a rv show. on mine the doors started to warp and appeared wavy. this i found annoying. had the doors replaced under warranty, and the new doors did the same thing. there is not a lot of internal structure built in. on the plus side it did give you a lot of room to shower and dress.
