None on my Challenger, but road debris is another topic!

None on my ACE either. Maybe your rig suffered a rock chip at some point, which spread due to the temperatures.

Way back in medieval times, (2014), windshields were popping out of shiny brand new Windsports and Hurricanes.

If the entry door was slammed shut hard, or during leveling, sometimes the windshields were popping out and/or cracking.

No so many windshields just spontaneously cracked while parked though.

Our 2012 Hurricane 32A had to have the windshield replaced last spring. The crack appeared one cool morning after I backed it out

Sorry, continuing last post. Out of the rv garage into a warm morning sun. I could not tell it then but the crack started from a small chip right at the very top of the w/s. I'm not sure when that happened but I think the change in temperature made it crack. May have been your problem.

That is normally how a crack happens. Starts with a small chip you might not even notice with how big the glass is. Thermal expansion or retraction stresses the out/inner panes differently and sometimes gives, usually at the chip.
