Thor Windsport stereo deck upgrade

Hi all I have a 2011 windsport and just upgraded the stereo deck from the stock Jensen to a Sony double din with apple carplay etc.

2 questions:

1) does anyone know of a faceplate kit to properly finish off the look of it? I called crutchfield and metra and both said they didnít know which part number would fit.

2) every new deck just uses an RCA video connector for the backup cam. I was hoping to use an adapter from that weird 4-pin ďaviationĒ connection of the stock camera to go to rca but it didnít work. Has anyone adapted the camera somehow to work with an rca plug?

Not clear on which cable you asking about. On 2015 ACE and 2016 Miramar, the cables from the three cameras run to a switching module that determines which camera signal is sent to the dash display (determined by turn signal input and reverse input). The output from the switching module to the dash display is via RCA connector. the cameras are connected to the module via a 4 pin connector. The cameras get power via this cable.

When installing a separate display on the dash for the rear camera, I used this cable to "bypass" the switching module and leave the rear camera on all the time.

Unfortunately the 2011 has those 4 pin connectors that come from the 3 cameras direct into 3 ports on the back of the deck. So there are no RCAs in a switch box.

So you have three cameras on 4 pin connectors and one video input RCA on your dash unit? If so could you add a switching module between the cameras and the dash unit?

Do you know the model number of your dash unit?

I only care about having the rear cam working so not worried about switching. Just need something that actually works to connect the weird 4 pin to RCA

The connector posted above should work with your camera for that. 12 volt power hooked to the red and black wires of the cable, yellow RCA to the dash unit. The white RCA carries audio if your camera has that.
