Those of you with 2016+ ACE's, how much do you tow?

I'm not referring to flat towing.
I have a trip planned for this Friday pulling my boat- 7000#.
Pretty easy trip- 3 hours, no hills.
My ACE was the last year with the 5000# hitch which I had modified to now be rated at 8500#. I had an extension added to the hitch which helps displace more of the weight forward onto the frame. This is a modification a local truck center has made several times to increase towing capacity to vehicles.
As per Thor no other changes were made to the frame, suspension, etc for the 2016-17 model besides the hitch itself- 8000#.

Considering my vehicle is coming in just shy of 16,000#, I should be fine with a GCWR of 23,000#. I'll be at the max, but fine. My trailer also has disc surge brakes on both axles.

I've never towed this boat before with the ACE. My previous boat was towed at 5000#
Any concerns?
