Unlucky or what

Last week after leaving Jackson Hole for Colorado, we had an 18 wheeler throw a rock up and chip our windshield. Had it repaired at the campground in Colorado. We set up today at the Thor service center and sitting at my dinette table about 4 hours after setting up and Bang!!, sounded like someone threw a rock at the coach. Went outside to look around and what did I find? A cracked windshield, lower right corner. Couldn't get the coach perfectly level, but as close as possible. The windshield continues to crack. Well at least I'm in the right place to get it replaced. Hope I have better luck with the repairs and the trip home.

I would call it lucky. You could be in the middle of nowhere and have to get a windshield shipped to your location. Good luck with your repairs.

I would say lucky.

Crack in the same place in windshield as the chip? If so, this shows how the "repair" thing is not perfect.

And, it didn't happen while you were driving

Finally you should be getting a good replacement, being at the service facility.

Thank you for your service and best of luck!

Typically, the company that repairs the windshield offers a warranty worth the full cost of the repair. In most cases a repair will work fabulously, but not always.
