Hey all,
From new my water heater will light and quit 3 times before the system goes into reset. I then go inside flip the switch to the off position and then back to on. Usually it will then light and stay lit after its first try if not definately on the 2nd. Although when its burning it will ocationally spit and sputter.
I called my dealer on this and they said to "open up the air flow, it sounds like its not getting enough air".
I have the tube slid back as far as possible, what am I missing, is there something else wrong ??
Thanks for any advise

Actually, you might be getting too much air and not enough fuel. Do you turn your propane off when not in use? One thing you might try is lighting your stove and making sure it burns steadily before starting the water heater. This will make sure the lines are full of propane.

There have been problems with not enough air after the heater is lit not on the tube adjustment but air flow to the burner opening for flame. Open your heater door and lite the HW heater. If it operates thats what your problem is. Someone cut holes in door of heater so more air could flow into burner.
