Water reg

Hello Group,
Could you guys/gals recommend a water pressure regulator. I'm getting some things now for when I pick up my new coach.

Thanks, Jake

Watts 3/4" home unit with adapters to your system. Forget the cheap Camco ones.

WATTS Brand..adjustable/rebuildable

But might I make a suggestion.........fill fresh water tank and Use the on-board pump
all the time.

We used city water connection with a adjustable reg set for 50#
Worked GREAT!. If there was a water supply connection we hooked up to it.

Dog woke us up one morning at 4:30 barking......."What's wrong Lassie...Timmy fall in the well"
Water was flowing out of cabinet.....kitchen/living room floors 2" deep in water, our site plus 2 others were flooded r=water had run so long...under slideouts etc.

$.50 fitting on water heater hot out had blown apart (found the cracked pieces....overtightened at factory/defective ????)
We were FT when this happened...1 yr old rig
Had to find motel, repair facility---- new linoleum in kitchen, new carpet in living room and both slideouts, large slideout had to be completely removed and new subfloor installed due to water damage----$6000 repair/costs

No more connected to city water for us'
Fresh water tank is always FULL....use pump which is 4 gpm/55 psi
Easy to turn OFF at night, off when we go outside, off if we take a walk, off if we leave....and when on if there is another leak pump goes BURRRRPPPP when it shouldn't so I know I need to investigate

Still have/use our WATTS regulator.......when filling tank and using black tank flush system

WATTS Adjustable/rebuildable for regulator

Fresh water tank/pump for RV water supply source

Jake-

I purchased a Watts 263A from the RV Water Filter Store. Here's the link to their 263A Web page.

I believe the regulator from them comes pre-set to 50 or 55 psi.

We were Full Time LIVING in the rig traveling.
PITA but good 'home owners' insurance came thru like a champ for us and the repair facility expedited repairs when parts arrived from mfg which also responded very well.

All our years of camping we always used city water supply connection when available.
Fresh water tank/pump where for travel days and boondocking

Since our 'flood'-tank/pump are used exclusively---past 9 yrs
That is what they are for................................

So now the real one will cost $40 more. I can't count the number of times I've done the same thing and then give my head a shake and say to myself, "What were you thinking". And the $40 one goes in the garage sale for $.050
