Red face What is the tongue weight of the 2016/2017 Vegas?

Looking to possibly getting my hands on a Vegas to live in! Was looking at getting a scooter for the toad. Looking at getting a scooter hitch. I can't seem to find a definitive tongue weight for the Vegas.

Thanks for any advice.

There are several Axis/Vegas models and each have different chassis load characteristics. Plus those years cover some that were built on the E-450 chassis where the heavier rear axle gives those coaches a bit more weight capacity.

So, my 24.2 fully loaded with toad connected and built on the E350 chassis has 960lbs before maximum axle rating. That's well over the standard 500lb hitch rating.

Wow, that is great news! Looking at getting a Honda Silverwing which sits at 540 total.

I have seen a number of references to tongue weight as 10% of towing capacity, e.g., a typical 5,000-lb. capacity hitch would allow for 500 lbs. of tongue weight.

FWIW... Mine has an 8000lb hitch but only 500lb tongue rating.
