Where is best pricing in sw for '13/'14 thor ace 29.2 evo?????
I am in the market to purchase either a late model, low mile 2013 or 2014, or a brand new 2014 THOR ACE 29.2 EVO. I'm sure there must be some consensus out there as to where is the best, (lowest), most advantageous place in the SouthWest to perhaps fly/drive-in and make the purchase?
Anyone out there who is willing to share a recommendation as to where I might see a 27%-32% discount off of MSRP, I'd like to hear from. If you do not wish to go public with your recommendation, please send me a PM instead. I know I have heard of specific, large RV Dealers offering as much as 35% off MSRP, but I don't know how real those are, nor were any of the posts all that specific as to where to go and perhaps even which sales manager to ask for.
If you wish me to share your referring name with the individual or dealer you refer me to, please say so. And if you do not, I will assume it's all in confidence.
Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I doubt you'll find a single dealer who has a reputation for "always being the lowest" when it comes to pricing. Too many variables.
What I did when I was purchasing our new DP, was I Googled the make and model I wanted. That showed me a list of >25 dealers nation wide who were advertising what I wanted. I then emailed each of them asking what their best price on the unit would be.
Over half replied asking for me to call them to discuss it. I ignored those. About ten of them replied with a price quote. They ranged up to about 29% off of MSRP.
I took those quotes to my local dealer and negotiated with them from there. I didn't get the full 29% so I paid a few thousand dollars in order to do business locally but I'm happy with the process I used.
Best of luck.
Rick

Shop the shows as the dealers often give very big discounts on the last day. We got our 29.2 at a show in Denver and were in the range that you are looking for on a new chassis. We love it (and our out in it right now in our second winter adventure).
Good luck and welcome to the forum!

After looking for a year, I was really happy with Rocky Mountain RV in Logan Utah. I worked with Lynn Hendrixson, he was a straight shooter, the process was great, no issues at all. After dealing with the Hell Hole known as General RV, it was a pleasure dealing with Lynn. check out their web site and see what they have in stock. I also know he has a couple new on the lot 2012 models of the A.C.E. and Hurricane, and they are deeply, deeply discounted, worth taking a look at.

Our best deal on our new ACE 27.1
We bought our new rig through Costco and saved over ten percent of the dealer's price. Check it out by going on Costco's site or giving them a call and getting the lowdown. Good luck. It's a super rig!
(I am definitely NOT a Costco employee.)

Try Motor Home Specialist RV in Alvarado, TX (just south of Ft. Worth). Their advertised price on their web site Texas RV Dealer, Used RVs for sale, motorhome sales, new RVs is 25% off, but a phone call will get their "911 sale price" which is usually several % lower. We just purchased a 2014 Tuscany from them in September, and found them very straightforward and easy to deal with. If you have a trade, though, you might want to sell it yourself, because they are pretty stingy with their trade prices.
