Windshield cracks due to structural integrity

2015 THOR Axis 24.2 RUV 63.25" windshield has cracked in 3 different places over 2 years. Last crack went across passenger windshield wiper. Currently we are getting it replaced & are being told by our insurance company they only replace structural damage glass once.
I suspect that's why Thor went to the 54" windshield after the 2015 model year.
Has anybody else had any issues with glass cracking from structural problems?
We store it inside when not in use & over the winter.
We use it to shuttle from Upstate NY to Myrtle Beach several times a year & golf trips up & down the East coast & Midwest. Thoughts????

One of rigs had this type of problem, where the windshield would crack from the edge out without any rock chips! The fellow who replaced the last one suggested a film applied to the top half a foot and the same at the bottom, on the inside and on the top on the outside as well. He said its not much but every little bit helps and he added a couple beads of some tacky stuff where on the external glass where it would not be visible after the trim was put on.


For 5 years after that no glass cracks, we did pick up some stars from rock hits but the same outfit fixed those.


Has anyone tried the full windshield film?
