Looking for j1708 help for gem programming

I have a 2006 f650 with an international vt365. I had a water leak in the cab and shorted out the fuse block and GEM module. I've installed new replacements but am having a hard time figuring out how to program the GEM "as built". Does anyone have any experience with J1708? I'm really stuck on this thing and needing to get back on the road.
