MF13 Engine in 2012 HDT

Looking at a 2012 International truck that is setup the way I need to be able to haul my Jeep and then tow a bumper pull toy hauler behind it with my Harley in it.

But I'm finding mixed reviews on the MF13 engine and would like to hear others thoughts on this engine.

MF13 Engine in 2012 HDT - NO NO NO

So this is my first post here, kinda been lurking and learning the ropes for a while. When I saw your post I new I should chime in.

I work for a NAVISTAR dealer aka International. The Maxxforce 13 dam near bankrupted International. In the trucking world it is know as one, if not, the worst engine ever made. If I get a phone call from customers asking "should I by this International ProStar with a Maxxforce 13? It seems like a good buy".
My advise is to not pay more than scrap value for the truck.

The only thing good I can say about them is we made our sales bonus every month for years because of all the warranty work the shop did. (Thank you NAVISTAR for making my boat payment all those times)

If you are still interested post the engine serial # or the last 8 of the VIN and I will pull the warranty repair history.
