Wow, that sucks pretty soon Cummins will be the only manufacture left, and no competition will sure make Cummin's profit margins go up. Not sure this is good for the diesel engine market.

VW now owns a significant portion of Navistar. Expect some imported VW engines to be available in the near future.

Talked to Rush Trucking. Was told Navistar is coming out with a new line of engines to replace MF13 and 15, Not sure about the mid power engines. Was told they spent 5 years developing this new line of engines.Would look for Navistar to drop the Cummins line of engines as these new ones roll out.

They've already rolled out one new model, the A26, based upon the German MAN D26, for LT & RH series trucks. Seems to be the replacement for the N13 (formerly MF13). Nothing yet on smaller displacement engines.

I have been seeing the best midsized replacement in the Navistar products, CUMMINS isb, they have been making my customers very happy.
