Oil change adapter for MaxForce 7

I have a Serrano that has a Maxforce 7 engine and I am trying to find out if there is some kind of adapter to attach to the oil fill tube in order to add oil. If I open the front of the engine compartment the oil filler is pointing directly forward, there is no way to add/ change oil so I am assuming that I need to purchase some king of adapter.

Thanks
Dennis

I use a whatchamacallit thingy that is like a giant syringe with a plasitc tube on it, suck up oil, squirt it in the hole.

Oil filling

Go to any/most auto parts store they have a plastic collapsible extension for quart containers. Get three and screw them together for the needed length. This will allow you fill from outside of the...

Hi Vortex1203

I gave up and had Rush Trucks do a complete PM. They did oil filter, fuel filters, etc. so I am good for a while. Do you change you oil as recommended in the manual or more often? The dealer said I should change the oil every year before putting the unit in storage for the winter. I average 4000 miles per year so the once a year seem excessive to me.

The Maxxforce manual says 10K miles or 6 months. That is what I do.

Harbor Freight regularly has a fluid transfer pump in their sale circulars. IIRC it's under $5. At the price certainly worth a try.
