2006 ISL ECM Concrete Truck Config

I was having an issue that Cummins thought was an ECM problem so they replaced it. The technician told me that the configuration (i believe he used a different term for config) was for a Concrete Truck and that he hadn't seen that before.

Anyone else heard that before?

Its mounted in a Freightliner XCR chassis.

Cummins quoted me ~$225 to flash the ECM from 400hp to 450hp but turns out my ISL 8.9L setup only allowed it to go to 400 which it already was. Bummer! -Bill

I read your other thread. I doubt you had the most qualified tech available and that was probably just an off the wall comment.

2006 ISL ECM Concrete Truck Config

Yes there are notes along with the calibration files that can denote a variety of different applications. Eg. combine, RV, line haul, vocational ect.
Do you happen to know the calibration number that was referred too?

I have a copy of my ECM image.
There is a make/model description line.
In my case it just is listed as "Generic"

I don't know that. The tech only told me about what he saw that he thought was unusual. -Bill
