Almost all belts have a part number on the belt. Many times they also list the length of the belt. Good idea to have a spare. We were in Alaska 2 years ago and a person with a new coach pick up a rock which broke the belt and they missed 6 days of the trip waiting to get the belt from lower 48. If replacing a belt good idea to save old belt so it could be installed if needed. A extra 1 or 2 fuel filters if one travel a lot since it isn't strange to pick up bad fuel and need to replace fuel filter.

Once you get organized by putting everything on a spreadsheet and having a spare for everything and the tools to fix everything You will NOT need them.
Cheap insurance....

Yearly you have to change your oil/filter, filter's on Allison and fuel filters. The belts are cheap insurance to carry, for on the road change out.
So how would I not need them?
