Ambient air/barometric pressure sensor

Need to revisit a subject that has had some discussion previously on this forum regarding the location of the ambient air/barometric pressure sensor. I need to replace this sensor on our Cummins ISC 350 engine and have been unable to locate the old one. From what I have learned the old one should be mounted to the block with two screws or small bolts somewhere near the ECM on the intake side of the engine and connected to the ECM harness with a three wire plug. It may resemble the second image below.

Cummins Quickserve has a TSB on this (TSB100488) informing us that a new pressure sensor, part #4902720, shown in the first image below, was introduced in Feb '06 and supersedes sensors numbered 3080407 and 3085140. The TSB says the new sensor may not resemble the old one and is mounted differently than the old one. The new one "will not" thread or bolt into existing sensor locations. The new sensor is to be cable tied and taped to the wiring harness, parallel with the ground, with the pressure port facing down.

Need to find the old one in order to unplug it, plug the new one into the harness and mount it appropriately. A very specific description of its location, diagram, or picture showing its location may be needed to find it!! It does not want to be found!! A big thank you to anyone who knows where this pokemon part is hiding.

Thanks Jim. Yes I have seen that thread and that post...and still can't find the darned thing. Have been upside down through the closet floor access to the engine with LED flashlights, know it has got to be right there hiding right under my nose...literally, but have yet to spot the sucker...er...sensor. Oh, well they say, just follow wire #32 from the ECM back through the wire harness to the sensor. Have you seen how many wires come out of the ECM I say. Easier to find the sensor than wire #32 and trace it through the spaghetti factory of the wire harness.

You might try a Fox & Hound wire tracer. If you can isolate the #32 wire you should be able to trace it where it terminates.
