Are Cummins fuel and air filters the same? 350 ISL. compared to 400 ISL ?

My 07 KSDP has a 350, but there has been confusion with some that it is a 400. Spartan sent me a list of filters etc in April, they also said my engine was a 400. When I challenged them to check it they came back and said I was correct it was a 350.

To add to,the confusion; when I input the engine serial number in the Cummins app, the filter numbers are no where close to the numbers I got from Spartan

I was about to order some spare fuel filters tonight and not sure which filter list they sent me

Cummins engine serial number will tell you basic info about the "on engine" filters like the oil or perhaps the secondary fuel filter. Coach manufacturers often relocate filters to remote/off-engine locations or change filter nomencalture. Seems like Newmar would be the best place to settle your issues??????

The easiest and best way to be assured you are getting the correct filters is to look at the filters on the unit currently. You know they will fit!

Not really-- I know one or two cases in our travel club where the local Cummins had the coach listed in their files as a 350 when our friends had actually upgraded to a newer coach with a 400.....Appeared that the Cummins shop installed the 350 air filter on the 400 and the engine was dusted....Responsibility for what happens was never resolved but the owner suspects the wrong filter was installed....just saying...
