Thank you

To me this sure is a lawyerized bullet point: *Low maintenance coolant with no SCA addition

The way I read it, "No SCA has been added".
Many others here read it "No SCA needed" or "No SCA required"

I also got hold of Cummins Filtration. She said that the SCA on those filters is released immediately (not over time). So, for the SCA going up over time, all I can think of the discrepancy is taking the sample from the expansion tank not mixed that well.

What is the part number of the coolant you plan to use? Based on the Fleetguard website this is my understanding.

#CC36077 ES Compleat OAT (organic acid technology) pink coolant, no SCA additive required.

Or

#CC2825 ES Compleat blue coolant, additive required.

You may want to contact the manufacturer to verify this for your own peace of mind.

Good luck,

My engine is an ISC/ISL, though I'm not sure that is a significant factor in this discussion.

You should check out your RV again, no mfgr. ever put a ISC or ISL in a class B.

Whoever told you that is completely wrong, SCA is slowly released over time.

The link you attached is for the slow release one, I called about WF2071.
This is from Cummins Filtration web page:

WF2071 Spin-On Filter with DCA4+ Additive
WF2121 Spin-On Filter with Slow Release DCA4+ Additive
WF2122 Spin-On Filter with No Additive
WF2123 Spin-On Filter with No Additive

What is the difference between WF2122 and WF2123?

I am getting ready to change my coolant to the Caterpillar pink ELC.

I know what I posted, it refutes what the woman told you about the filters only releasing it immediately.

Cummins Filtration told me they are just a bit different size due to different customer needs but either one works:

WF2122 Overall Height 106 mm (4.17 in)
WF2123 Overall Height 138 mm (5.43 in)

A statement like that and you do not provide anything to back up your claim.

Open the link I posted to Cummins filtration, reed ALL the words. That is the documentation.

You even posted that filter number WF2121 in your post.

No, read my post #34 again, WF2071.

I hope we can put this spat to bed.

So we agree the 2071 is the rapid-release filter, and the 2121 is the slow-release. "She" said Cummins did not sell a slow-release" was what I said was wrong information.
Ok now that we have that misunderstanding corrected, Here's a virtual handshake:

Yes and no. I've been talking about the 2071 from the start (post #5) and and the lady at Cummins Filtration confirmed that it is a rapid release.

That's the filter called out in my Owner's Manual and that's the filter local Cummins dealer installed when changing my coolant.
The only reason I called Cummins Filtration in the first place is because my coolant report for SCA had gone up from a year before.

I only included the other filters in later posts for other readers benefit as different questions had arisen throughout this thread.
